Hello, my name is Ian V Hamrick

The hardest thing to write is about yourself.

Writing has been a passion of mine since I was in the 6th grade. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a military environment, thus I was able to see many parts of the world growing up. At the time we were living in a small base an hour away from Stuttgart, Germany. On a whim, I wrote a short story, including bad illustrations of an accidental time traveler. My teacher at the time, Ms. Mogolnicki (yes I do remember her name) loved it so much she made a copy of it for herself. That was my beginning into the world of writing. Since then, I have written more short stories, poems, and novels, I have even write a few articles for a few newspapers. I worked on a few novels on and off through the years, but RISE OF THE 4 is inspired from unexpected places and, in many ways has come together almost on its own.

I know that even after this series of novels is published I will continue to write, for the love of writing.
